Nursing Program Costs

Tuition for nursing students is the same as for all other OSU-Oklahoma City students. Additional expenses include:

  • nursing student uniforms, patches, nursing pin
  • special equipment such as a stethoscope and watch
  • liability insurance
  • application fee for licensure examination upon graduation
  • Career Pathway (LPN/Paramedic) students: Advance Standing Fees per credit hour
  • rubella, rubeola and varicella immunity, tuberculosis test, hepatitis B immunity or waiver and American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers
  • Lab fees
  • Books and online programs fees
  • Standardized readiness exams and resources fees
  • Entrance Exam: HESI A2 or LPN/Paramedic Mobility Exam
  • Criminal Background checks following admission

A financial aid officer is available to assist students in applying for grants, loans, tuition waivers and scholarships. The Nurse Science Department has several scholarships for students admitted into the program and the Oklahoma Manpower Commission has grant money available for nursing students.
