Jobs in the Health Sciences field are projected to be in continued high demand as medical technology advances and the U.S. population ages. In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates a 12-20% increase in the need for employees from our various programs who will appreciate median salaries ranging from approximately $40,000 to $70,000.
The School of Health Sciences offers programs of study leading to an associate's degree. The degrees offered include Nurse Science, Healthcare Administration, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Radiographic Technology. The School boasts hosting a number of specialty-accredited programs, including: Nursing, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Radiographic Technology. Through the work of program faculty, we are able to meet and exceed the requirements of our accrediting agencies. This all a part of OSU-OKC's mission to provide high-quality, industry-relevant educational experiences!
OSU-OKC offers a wide range of online, day, and evening courses to suit the schedules of our students. The core major courses are held during the day; with the exception of Healthcare Administration courses, which are entirely online. Clinical laboratory experiences are hosted during the day and early evening. Clinical, practicum, or preceptor experience scheduling varies, with some students attending day, evening, night, and/or weekend experiences.
