Agriculture Technology Fee Waiver Amounts vary Must have at least a 2.5 grade point average, declare horticulture as major, and must be carrying at least six credit hours for the semester they are applying Complete and submit the application and supporting documentation by the deadline
Ag VIP $500-$1,200 per semester Must be a participant in the Ag VIP program or have participated in your high school’s FFA program, or demonstrate completion of a high school project related to agriculture. Recipient must earn at least six credit hours each semester at OSU-OKC and be pursuing horticulture; eligibility for scholarship based on student need and not solely on academic performance Complete and submit the application and supporting documentation by the deadline
Ed & Lorraine Reynolds Endowed Scholarship Amounts vary Recipient must earn at least six credit hours each semester at OSU-OKC and be pursuing horticulture; eligibility for scholarship based on student need and not solely on academic performance Submit completed application to the Horticulture Office by the deadline date for consideration.
Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendent's Scholarship Two scholarships provided by the Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendent's Association annually Must be declared a turfgrass management major and seeking a career in the golf course management field Submit completed application to the Horticulture Department
Turfgrass Management Endowed Scholarship Amounts vary Must be enrolled at OSU-Oklahoma City and pursuing a degree in Turfgrass Management; Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the semester for which the scholarship is to be awarded; Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; Selection preference will be given to those students who are members of state and national turfgrass management-related associations. Submit completed application to the Horticulture Office by the deadline date for consideration.
Swede Elmborg Scholarship Amounts vary Must be full-time student with at least 12 hours completed toward a horticulture degree, be a horticulture major, have at least a 3.0 grade point average and is encouraged to give explanation/reason for financial assistance Submit completed application to the Horticulture Office by the deadline date for consideration.
Total Environment Endowed Scholarship Amounts vary Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours toward a Horticulture Degree. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Selection preference will be given to those students with a current study emphasis in Plant Production, Landscape Contracting or Landscape Design. Primary consideration will be given to those students with a demonstrated financial need. Submit completed application to the Horticulture Office by the deadline date for consideration. Write a thank-you letter to donor and submit a copy to Scholarship Committee Chair. Attend OSU-OKC donor appreciation events as requested.

CHS Foundation Mini-Grants Amounts vary Must be a campus-sanctioned club/organization and have an agricultural-related focus; club/organization may receive only one grant per academic semester; advisor must be listed as a contact; and regular and ongoing club expenses are ineligible Click here to complete and submit an electronic application; questions can be directed to (800) 814-0506 or info@chsfoundation.org; grants will be awarded on an ongoing basis - there are no submission deadlines
Davey Foundation Arbor Grant Program $1,000 Must have at least a 2.5 grade point average, enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at a selected technical school, college or university, and recommendations from instructors and financial needs will be major considerations More information located here; deadline is September 30
Garden Writers Association Foundation Scholarship It is given annually in the amount of $500 Full-time or part-time post-secondary students, including technical schools and community colleges, majoring in horticulture, plant science or journalism with an interest in garden communications Complete application and attach personal statement, a minimum of two writing/photography samples, a supporting letter from applicant's advisor/major professor/department head, and an official transcript; visit website for more information
Golf Course Superintendents Association of America Amounts vary Must be pursuing careers in the golf course industry, future turfgrass researchers and educators, children and grandchildren of GCSAA members, and foreign students studying in the U.S. For more information, contact Mischia Wright, senior manager of development, at 800-472-7878 ext. 4445 or visit here; deadline is June 1.

National Garden Clubs, Inc. Thirty-five advanced annual scholarships in the amount of $4,000 Criteria is described in the application packet available in the OSU-OKC Horticulture Department, located at 400 N. Portland Ave. Please visit the website for application and information on submitting, dates, etc.
Oklahoma Horticulture Society Scholarship Amounts vary Must be a horticulture student enrolled in areas of landscape architecture, landscape contracting, greenhouse or nursery production, turf management, floriculture, horticultural therapy or related field; be current resident of Oklahoma for at least one year More information and application is located here.
Oklahoma Nursery and Landscape Association A $500 scholarship is awarded annually Must be a full-time student pursuing a horticulture major at OSU-OKC and have at least a 3.0 grade point average Submit completed application to the Horticulture Department; visit website for more information
Perennial Plant Association Scholarship Amounts vary Must declare horticulture or related field as major or minor, have at least a 3.0 grade point average, have at least one semester remaining following term applying for More information here.
Perfect Plants Scholarship $1000.00 awarded annually Applicants must be an incoming freshman, sophomore, junior or senior enrolled full or part time into a course of study at a community college or university leading to a career in the horticultural industry. A 3.0 or above GPA is required of the applicant. Sports Turf Managers Association Amounts vary Applicants are judged on academic preparation, grade point average, experience in sports turf management, references provided by student advisors and previous/current employers, contributions to their school, department, and organizations as well as career objectives Complete application and include a certified copy of college transcript and a biographical essay (300-500 words); for more information, visit here; deadline is October 15 each year.
