Academic Video Online (AVON) - Alexander Street publishes curated, discipline-focused, primary-source collections, websites, and streaming media for learning and research.  Create video clips to use in class presentations and much more.  Contact the OSU-OKC Library for more information.

AP Stylebook Online - Access the Associated Press Stylebook Online for information on writing guidelines and more.  It is limited to 100 simultaneous users.  Please try again if you are unable to access the stylebook.

CAB Abstracts - This is the place to go for the applied life sciences and includes agriculture, environment, veterinary sciences, applied economics, food science and nutrition.

CQ Researcher - Do you need in-depth, unbiased coverage of today’s controversial topics?  CQ Researcher is a great resource for reviewing the background, history, pros, cons, and other important information about covered topics.  Each report includes a bibliography.  To locate related websites, look for the link to “Contacts” within each full report.

EBSCOhost (including CINAHL) - Databases contain magazine and journal articles from many areas including social sciences, humanities, general science, education, business, nursing and health.

Gale Literature Criticism - Formerly called Literature Criticism Online.  Comprehensive compilation of literary commentary on authors, works, and topics.  It contains scholarly and popular literary criticism from broadsheets, pamphlets, encyclopedias, books and articles delivered in an online format.  Series included in this online collection are Children’s Literature Review, Contemporary Literature Criticism, Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism, Shakespearean Criticism, Short Story Criticism, and Twentieth-Century Literature Criticism.

OIC Movies - These news, information, and entertainment videos in American Sign Language (ASL) are updated regularly. Students in the interpreter training program are encouraged to watch these movies to improve their fluency and understanding of ASL.

Pete’s Portal - Search the OSU-OKC Library Catalog, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, and more. Find books located in the OSU-OKC Library and access magazine, journal, and newspaper articles as well as eBooks.

ProQuest - This collection includes ProQuest Central (periodicals covering all major subject areas), National Newspapers Expanded (1985-Current), Ebook Central, Academic Video Online, Historical Newspapers, and more.

ProQuest SIRS Issues Researcher - SIRS provides a user-friendly way for novice researchers to better understand current events.  SIRS not only provides analysis, opinions, pros, and cons, it includes an international perspective on events.  SIRS goes even further by providing thought-provoking questions for the reader to develop their understanding of the topics.  A generic research guide is available to help the reader through the process, and each topic includes a bibliography with related web resources.

“Resilience:  The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope” is available through AVON.  This one-hour documentary delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement to treat and prevent toxic stress.

Salem Press - Access titles from Salem Press for your research needs. Explore topics in literature, history, and science. Titles include “Masterplots, Fourth Edition,” “Great Lives from History: Notorious Lives,” Historical Encyclopedia of American Business,” “Forensic Science,” our subscription to “The Reference Shelf,” and more. These books are also available in the library as hard copies.

TDSHealth/STAT!Ref - Search titles in allied health.  Includes "Stedman's Medical Dictionary."  Utilize BoardVitals to prepare for the ARRT Radiology board exam.

TURFGRASS INFORMATION CENTER - A bibliographic computer database to provide access to all published materials reporting on aspects of turfgrass and its maintenance. When you click the above line, you will need to press "Log on" and will be taken to the site.

uCentral - uCentral includes trusted medical resources.  Access the "Davis Drug Guide" and much more.  While on campus, create a personal account and download the app for easy access off campus.  Contact the OSU-OKC Library for more information.
