Meet the Staff

Jack DamrillJack Damrill

Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Jack has over 30 years of marketing & communications experience and now leads the Marketing & Communications Division at OSU-OKC.  Jack’s previous role before coming to OSU-OKC was a Communications & Branding Specialist for The Boeing Company where he specifically handled the Bombers program and the Executive Transport program, including Air Force One.  In prior roles, he led the Marketing & Communications Division of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for nearly 16 years.  Jack started his career in television and radio and was an anchor/reporter for KFOR TV in Oklahoma City.  Jack is a certified NCAA college and U.S. Soccer referee as well as Oklahoma’s State Soccer Referee Administrator where he oversees nearly 1,400 youth and adult referees.


Matt PriceMatthew Price

Director of Marketing & Communications 

Matt received his degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Oklahoma, and was the features editor at The Oklahoman newspaper from 2009-2018, where he also wrote about comics and geek culture. He’s won awards for leisure reporting, film reviews, blogs and entertainment features while working as a journalist. He returned to OU in the Marketing & Communications department and as a journalism instructor after leaving The Oklahoman. He's also worked for the Oklahoma Gazette, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, and the Dallas Morning News. He joined OSU-OKC in March 2020. Matt and his wife, Annette, own the Eisner Award-nominated comic book store, Speeding Bullet Comics, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Fun Fact:

Matt co-wrote the deadCenter Film Festival's 2014 Oklahoma Film of the Year, "The Posthuman Project."


Clinton CarterClinton Carter

Video & Digital Content Producer

Clinton graduated from Full Sail University in October 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography. Most recently Finishing his master’s degree in Entertainment Business in October 2022 from Full Sail university. Some of the Projects Clinton has worked on is the 48 Hour film Project and numerous of others including Commercials, Promotional Videos, Sports Videography and Weddings. Clinton received The Best Videographer of the Year Award in 2017 Hosted by LineUpOKC.


James Walton

James Walton

Web Communications Manager

James graduated from OSU-Okmulgee in 1985 with and Associate of Technology Degree in Commercial Art. He has been employed with OSU-OKC since 1987. In 1997, James was awarded the OSU-OKC Administrative & Professional Outstanding Staff Award and the President's Award of Excellence. In 1999, he received the Cornerstone Award from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association. In his spare time, he has many hobbies, including art and making music.
