Students, faculty and staff can raise funds for projects with PhilanthroPete

Want to raise funds for an Oklahoma State-related project that’s dear to you? You may want to learn more about PhilanthroPete. 

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City students, faculty and staff interested in raising funds for an OSU-related project are invited to an informational session on Tuesday, Aug. 29 on the OSU-OKC campus. 

PhilanthroPete is OSU’s official crowdfunding platform. Students, faculty and staff can utilize PhilanthroPete to raise up to $10,000 for their clubs, programs, projects, research, departments and more.

The OSU Foundation will be hosting informational sessions about PhilanthroPete on the OSU campuses. The OSU-OKC session will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 29 in Room 304 of the Student Center.

Kyle Stringer, Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Special Programs and Student Foundation at the Oklahoma State University Foundation, encourages interested students, faculty and staff to attend and get more details.

“There will be a presentation about how to best utilize PhilanthroPete to raise money for your project,” Stringer said. “This will also be a great opportunity to ask any and all questions regarding the application process, best practices and more.”
