OSU-OKC Welcomes Nearly 2,200 New Students
Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City is proud to announce its new cohort of students for the fall of 2023.
OSU-OKC welcomes more than 2,200 first-time students to the campus and online classes for this fall’s semester.
Dr. Pam Stinson, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, said this large number reflects the work OSU-OKC has done in creating and promoting programs that resonate with today’s students, including the new pre-professional degree.
This OSU-OKC associate degree is intended for students who wish to transfer to a 4-year university, including potentially Oklahoma State’s Stillwater campus.
“The pre-professional degree allows students to stay in the Oklahoma City metro and affordably complete their first two years for many degree programs in business and STEM areas,” Stinson said. “Students can use this degree for transfer options in programs such as Accounting, Business Management, and pathways into allied health and other professional programs that help power the Oklahoma workforce.”
Other areas of growth included Addiction Counseling, up 27 percent; Early Care and Child Development, up 15 percent; and Power Transmission and Distribution Technology, up 15 percent.
