OSU-OKC vet tech students hosting fundraising dog wash

Annual dog wash raises funds for student activities and animal charities

Veterinary technology students from Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City will hold a fundraising dog wash this Sunday.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17 at the Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) Agriculture Resource Center, 400 N Portland Ave.

Each wash will include a bath and brush, nail trim, ear cleaning and gland expression. The cost is $12 to $24 for short-haired dogs and $14 to $26 for long-haired dogs. Students will also offer Furminator brushings for $3 and nail-trim only for $5. A $2 discount will be given with the donation of a new or gently used bath towel. Payments will be accepted by cash or check only.

Funds raised from the dog wash will go to support student activities, educational field trips and animal charities.
