OSU-OKC to participate in Penn Square Mall's Fall Safety Fest on Oct. 23

OKLAHOMA CITY – Entertainment and fall fun await visitors to the Fall Safety Fest from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 23 at Penn Square Mall.

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City is partnering with the mall to host the event, which will include a meet-and-greet with first responders, a tour of their vehicles, photo opportunities, children’s activities, food and fun.

Agencies participating in the Fall Safety Fest include Oklahoma City’s police and fire departments, Oklahoma Army National Guard and Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Also on board are the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Oklahoma Blood Institute, Oklahoma County Sheriff Department, Guthrie Police Department and Emergency Responders Assistance Program.

Vehicle tours will be available in the mall’s south parking lot.

Visitors are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, but there will not be trick-or-treating.
