OSU-OKC to host OKCPS Native American graduation parade

Oklahoma City Public Schools’ Native American Student Services (NASS) is partnering with Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City to host a parade for OKCPS Native American high school seniors.

Oklahoma City Public Schools’ Native American Student Services (NASS) is partnering with Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City to host a parade for OKCPS Native American high school seniors. The parade will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, April 22 on the OSU-OKC campus at 900 N. Portland Ave. in Oklahoma City.
 
All Native American students graduating from OKCPS schools were invited to participate. Students will drive through a pre-planned route while their community cheers them on from the sidelines. Graduates are encouraged to decorate their vehicles with decorations, signs or balloons. OSU-OKC students, faculty and staff, as well as others in the community who wish to show support, are invited to come and cheer for the graduates during the parade. Those who wish to cheer for the seniors are encouraged to gather near the north entrance of the OSU-OKC Administration building.
