OSU-OKC claims awards at OCPRA conference

OKLAHOMA CITY (July 23, 2019) -- The Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Office of Marketing & Communications brought home several awards at the recent Oklahoma College Public Relations Association conference and awards banquet.

The highlight was a Grand Award win in digital advertising for the school's "Believe It's Possible" digital ad campaign. The ads were designed by graphic designer Crystal Cid and have been deployed on a variety of digital advertising channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Google ads.

The school also won an Achievement Award for its 2018-19 fire protection enrollment marketing campaign. The campaign included traditional public relations and digital advertising efforts and helped drive up enrollment in the Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) fire protection program.

Additionally, OSU-OKC claimed an Achievement Award in print advertising for its "Summer in the City" newspaper campaign ads, and an Honorable Mention in the full-length feature story category for a profile on OSU-OKC alumnus Harvey Pratt.

The conference and awards banquet were held July 14-16 at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville.
