Letina Itaman joined OSU-OKC in February 2022 as the program manager for the Center for Social Innovation.

Itaman is a U.S. Navy Veteran who graduated from Langston with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management, a bachelor's degree in Corrections, and an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Itaman is currently pursuing a Master's in Entrepreneurial Studies (MES) at Langston University.

“I am honored to assist with the structure and growth of a program that is focused on reducing recidivism rates and increasing the economic wealth of individuals whose past endeavors were systematically challenging,” Itaman says. “Thanks to the vision and mission attached to OSU/OKC, I can work for a program with fellow champions like Ariel Moore, who is dedicated to giving a purpose and providing hope, and together we will attack the systematic barriers that prevent individual growth.”

Itaman has volunteered in various criminal justice reform initiatives throughout the state of Oklahoma while serving as the Langston University Chapter President for The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ).

Itaman lives in OKC with her husband. She says their driving motivations are faith, family and fellowship. They love to travel and explore new opportunities and adventures.
