OSU-OKC to host cloud computing Security and Compliance Immersion Day
Free daylong workshop targeted to IT professionals, managers and administrators
OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 10, 2019) – Tech professionals are invited to the Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City campus on Oct. 16 for a daylong cloud computing Security and Compliance Immersion Day.
The free event will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) Student Center, Conference Rooms North and South, 900 N Portland Ave.
The immersion day is the latest event in the OSU-OKC AWS Tech Forum Series. Presenters from AWS will cover major topics including shared responsibility model and security foundations; identity best practices on AWS; and best of the best practices.
Participants are invited to bring their laptops and their own cloud security use-cases for discussion with AWS presenters. Additionally, attendees will have opportunities to get hands-on experience with topics including compliance, auditing, identity and access management, and logging.
The day is intended for computer security professionals and managers, DevOps and DevSecOps engineers, and anyone interested in learning more about cloud security.
