Application deadline near for nurse bridge program at OSU-OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Slots are still available for the streamlined LPN to RN and paramedic to RN program at OSU-OKC. Applicants are urged to get in applications as soon as possible; the deadline for fall admission is July 1.

Licensed practical nurses and paramedics can become registered nurses in just three semesters through the nursing bridge program at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City.

The nursing bridge program is designed to allow LPNs and paramedics to continue working full time while earning their associate in applied science degree.

Instruction is all online with in-person clinic and lab experiences scheduled on weekends. The smaller classes offer more personal attention. Students must apply by July 1 to be considered for the fall cohort of 35 students.

RNs can earn a beginning salary upwards of $50,000.

Graduates of the nursing bridge program will be able to capitalize on the wider job availability and play a more prominent role in the healthcare decision-making process.
