National Voter Registration Day will be celebrated Sept. 17 at OSU-OKC and nationwide. This annual event is in conjunction with Constitution Day, celebrating the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.

Visitors can register to vote and verify their voter registration.

The event will feature food, games and prizes, as well as noted speakers from the campus and city.

Speakers for this civic engagement event include James Cooper, OKC Councilman Ward 2; JoBeth Hamon, OKC Councilwoman Ward 6; Professor Tamra Banks Johnson, OSU-OKC professor of history; Dr. Dorothy Waver, OSU-OKC professor of sociology; and Professor Lathonya Shivers, OSU-OKC professor of public service.

Speakers will be heard from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in the OSU-OKC Student Center.

Register to vote or validate your registration in the Hub from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Snacks will be provided, as will attendance documentation for professors.
