Extended Time on Timed Tests, Exams, and Quizzes in a Reduced-Distraction Setting

Students with many different disabilities often benefit from extended time on timed tests, exams, and quizzes in a reduced-distraction setting as an accommodation. Here's what you need to know.

Online tests, exams, and quizzes

• Please adjust the student’s time limit in the online learning system. 
• How to extend exam/quiz time limit in Canvas

Hardcopy/paper-and-pencil tests, exams, and quizzes

• Please have your students take them at the OSU-OKC Testing Center or another comparable reduced-distraction setting.
• Materials may be dropped off at the Testing Center in advance during their hours of operation.
