The testing center lobby is a secure testing area for Testers, Exam Check-in/out, Exam Information, and Scheduling.  No Studying, Electronic use or Waiting in the testing center.

  National ACT

  This is a college assessment for mathematics, English, reading, and science. National ACT scores are applicable at all colleges and universities. Participants must register at least a month in advance to pay the lower fee.

  ACT On-Campus Exam

  This test covers the same four subject areas as the ACT National exam, but scores will only be accepted at Oklahoma State University campuses. OSU-OKC only administers ACT On Campus exams to students admitted to OSU-OKC. Tests are administered by appointment only and need to be scheduled 4 weeks in advance. • ATI TEAS Test – Test of Essential Academic Skills

  TEAS is the pre-admission exam for all applicants of the OSU-OKC Diagnostic Imaging Degree programs.

  Total Test Time: 3 hours and 29 minutes

  • Testing takes place in January - February & April - May
  • Applicants may take the TEAS up to 2 times, in an application period, with a 90-day study period between attempts.
  • Register and pay for your testing appointment online. (Test dates are listed approx. 1 month before testing)
  • Seating is limited, so reserve your seat early.
  • If you already have a TEAS Testing account, please make sure your account information matches your ID. To update your account log into https://atitesting.com/ If you don’t have an account, we will help you create one when you come into test.

  Registration:

  An appointment and payment are required to take the ATI TEAS exam. The fee for the exam is non-refundable and is payable online.

• CLEP - College-Level Examination Program

  CLEP is a national test used to obtain college credit for the equivalent course. A list of tests can be found by clicking on the link below. CLEP tests must be scheduled with the Test Center by calling 405-945-8648 or through email, okc.testing@okstate.edu.

   

  Cost: $95 paid on the CLEP website and $20 Administration fee paid to the OSU OKC Business Office.

  Time: 90 minutes for all tests except the College Composition test which is 120 minutes.

• GED - General Educational Development

  The new GED program was launched on January 2, 2014; the GED test was overhauled to better prepare adults without a high school diploma for higher education and the workforce. The comprehensive, start-to-finish 2014 program uses technology to help students prepare for, pass, and progress beyond the GED test to find better jobs with better wages. The 2014 GED test is the only high school equivalency program fully aligned to state college and career readiness standards. The 2014 GED test series has four test modules.

   

  Some of the new features exam candidates can use on the GED new website include:

  • A one-stop resource for registration, preparation, and more.
  • Tools to develop personalized study plans and find study materials or in-person classes.
  • A skills assessment to help test-takers match skills with possible careers, and focus on career plans to get to better jobs with better wages.
  • Access to information and resources to help test-takers apply for college or training programs and fill out financial aid forms.
  • An official practice test that shows test-takers their strengths and where they need to improve, including specific pages to study in their training materials at home and online.

• OSU-OKC Placement Exam

  Prospective students may need to take a placement exam for placement purposes at OSU-OKC.  We currently use the ACCUPLACER™ which is a comprehensive, computerized test system that determines appropriate placement in reading, writing and math courses. 

   

  There are 3 sections of the OSU-OKC Placement Exam:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Math – Quantitative Reasoning

   

  See your advisor for an Orange Ticket listing the exam you need to complete.  An Orange Ticket is required for testing.

   

  Cost:  Free for OSU-OKC students needing placement into OSU-OKC classes.

   

  Time Allowed: Not timed but 

  • Reading or Writing: 45 min to complete one section – 1½ hours to complete both 
  • Math: 1 hour to complete.

  ONE: At the OSU-OKC Testing Center

  • Quickest way to have your scores entered into your student account and register for classes

   

  TWO: At an ACCUPLACER approved Testing Center near you

  • The next quickest way to have your scores entered into your student account and register for classes. Usually within 24 hours of completion of your exam.  
  • If you choose this option, we will call you to arrange with you for a voucher to be sent to an approved ACCUPLACER testing center near you.
  • Any fees associated with testing at an approved ACCUPLACER testing center are the student’s responsibility 
  • You will need to email the testing center once you have completed the exam at okc.testing@okstate.edu to have your scores added to your account.

   

  THREE: Online with Meazure Learning/ProctorU

  • This method will take 5-7 business days from the day you take your exam for your scores to be entered into your student account.

  EACH ACCUPLACER subject can be taken 3 times PER TESTING PERIOD.

   

  Enrollment periods are as follows:

  • June 1st – July 31st
  • August 1st – December 31st
  • January 1st – May 31st

   

  If a student has already tested in 1 subject 3 times, they will need to wait until the next testing period begins to test again in that subject.

  If you are requesting to take your OSU-OKC Placement Exam online with Meazure Learning/ProctorU, you should receive an email in 1-2 business days from the day you request your appointment from:

  • ACCUPLACER NoReply@accuplacer.info with information to complete your exam online with Meazure Learning/ProctorU.  

   

  IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE TESTING

  If you request to take your exam online/remote, it means you and your environment will be monitored by a live proctor, recorded, and reviewed.  You will need to complete thorough room pans/scans, remain completely in front of the webcam from the shoulders up, and stay in one room by yourself for the entirety of the exam (This is not a complete list of requirements). 

   

  Checklists have been included in the exam to assist with completing all necessary tasks. 

   

  Once the test session is completed, the video is reviewed and flagged for irregularities.  It is then reviewed again for validity of the scores. This process will take 5 – 7 business days, and you will be notified by email when it is completed.  All scores are marked unofficial until they have been verified.

   

  If there is anything that is asked of you that you do not want to complete, do NOT proceed with testing and contact the Testing Center.  There are other options for you to complete the OSU-OKC Placement tests.

   

  We are using Meazure Learning LIVE+ to administer your exam. At this time, there is no cost for the student to take this exam.  You will need to create an account and then schedule an appointment to take your exam online.

  Requirements for taking your exam online: (failure to comply with these requirements may result in your scores being invalidated.)

  • Upload your valid unexpired ID that has your current picture and information.
  • Remove watches, sunglasses, headphones, and non-religious head coverings.
  • Test alone in a well-lit room and remain in the room alone throughout the entirety of the exam.
  • Your full head and upper shoulders must remain in view of the webcam, with the webcam and microphone on for the entirety of the exam session. 
  • Do not obstruct your identity in any way whether electronically, sitting in front of a bright light, or with sunglasses, hats, scarves, etc.
  • Clear your desk and surrounding area.
  • All electronics, i.e. earbuds, cell phones, dual computer monitors, TV's, radios, etc., are turned off or stored outside of the room. Only have one monitor is allowed while testing.
  • Scan the room 360 degrees, the desktop, under the desk
  • Calculators of any kind are NOT allowed. I do NOT have any type of calculator. There is a calculator icon in the upper right-hand corner of the ACCUPLACER screen. If it is there, it is allowed for that question. If it is not there, it is not, and use of the scratch paper is recommended.
  • Do not talk or read the exam aloud
  • Adequate equipment and internet are required to complete this exam.

  MATH EXAM: show both sides of the scratch paper.

  • At the start of the exam
  • At the end of the exam: Show both sides of the scratch paper and tear it up in front of the camera.

  AT THE END OF THE EXAM

  • Contact the proctor to complete the Exam Exit Procedures
    • Math exam: show both sides of the scratch paper.
    • Tear up the scratch paper in front of the camera before exiting the exam.
  • All scores are unofficial until your test session is reviewed by a proctor. This may take up to 7 business days. You will be notified by email once your test session has been reviewed. 
  • You must comply with ACCUPLACER, Meazure Learning/ProctorU, and OSU-OKC’s testing policies
  • There are other options for taking the placement exams, if you are unable to complete the tasks being asked of you.

• OSU Stillwater Math Placement Test – ALEKS

  The ALEKS is the Oklahoma State University – Stillwater Math Placement exam. Students, who have applied to OSU – Stillwater will receive an ALEKS account to take their math placement and can come to OSU-OKC Testing Center to have their ALEKS proctored and certified.

  • Students need to be able to log into their OKEY account.
  • Exams are delivered by appointment only.

  Cost:  $20 proctoring fee

• Paramedic Entrance Exam

  The Paramedic Entrance Exam is an exam administered by the School of Paramedicine. The Paramedic Program utilizes a selective application process. 

   

  Students must apply and be accepted to OSU-OKC, before taking the Paramedic Entrance Exam.

  The Paramedic Entrance Exam includes the following exams:

• Proctor Service

  Fee-based proctor service is available to examinees attending other universities. A proctor agreement form is required; examinees must provide postage if test results are to be returned by mail. Proctored tests must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance; please call 405-945-8648 to schedule your exam. We recommend you call ahead to verify your exam has been received.

   

  Cost: $20 per test for exams scheduled to last up to 2 hours. Additional time must be approved by the Director.

  The OSU-OKC Traditional Nurse Science Degree program uses the Next Generation ACCUPLACER Exam (Reading, Writing and Math – Quantitative Reasoning) for the Traditional Nurse Pre-admission Exam.

  2. Writing
  3. Math – Quantitative Reasoning

  OSU-Oklahoma City grants credit for Advanced Placement (AP) exams in the College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) as indicated below.

   

  High school students may take Advanced Placement examinations for college level credit while still in high School. Students should contact their high school counselor to obtain assistance with testing arrangements. Scores of 3 or higher are acceptable for credit. Scores of one and two (1 and 2) are not acceptable for credit.
