The Associate of Applied Science in Applied Technology degree is designed for students
who have previously earned college credit or have goals or backgrounds that are not
supported by other A.A.S. programs.
Why applied technology?
Students graduate with 21 hours of general education courses and 30 hours of technical
occupational specialty core course.
Students not yet certain of their major can pursue the Associate in Applied Science
degree, obtain core general education credits and pick up basic skills required for
most professional careers today. The general education courses within this sequence
will easily transfer into a four-year degree program within the State of Oklahoma.
Plans of study
Chemistry (Students interested in a baccalaureate degree in Chemistry or to finish the requirement
for Pharmacy school.)
Life Science (Students interested in a baccalaureate degree in Biology, Microbiology, Ecology,
Zoology or Botany.)
Pre-Health (Students interested in Medical, Dental or Chiropractic school.)
