Concurrently Enrolled High School Students
Concurrent Enrollment is available for high school juniors and seniors.

If you have already been admitted and taken concurrent courses previously, you will submit a new concurrent enrollment form via email to okc.concurrent@okstate.edu and meet with your concurrent advisor prior to enrollment.
How to Apply
Step 1: Apply for admission to the university.
Choose "First-time users: Create an account." Follow the prompts through the application.
Step 2: Submit additional documents during application to the OSU-OKC Admissions Office.
In addition to submitting a Concurrent Approval Form, signed by your parents and by high school officials, you will also need to submit an official high school transcript as well as your ACT/SAT scores.
Step 3: Watch your email for your O-Key Account Activation instructions.
This is important! Your O-Key account gives you access to:
- myOKSTATE Self Service to enroll, pay your bill, see your grades, etc., and
- Canvas, our learning management system, to access your course materials.
You must also activate your O-Key to be able to get a student ID.

Course Placement
Admission to OSU-OKC does not guarantee eligibility for course placement. At a minimum, students must demonstrate college readiness in reading (Cumulative HS GPA of 3.0+, ACT 19+/SAT 510+/ACCUPLACER Reading ≥ 250).
Students must also meet the following score requirements in the subject area in which they are enrolling.

* High school Seniors are eligible for up to a total of 18 credit hours beginning with the Summer after Junior year through Spring of Senior year. High school Juniors are eligible for up to a total of 9 credit hours beginning with the Summer after 10th grade year through Spring of Junior year.
** Many courses have more than one code as prerequisite. For example: English Comp I (ENGL1113) has both an [R] and [W] requirement. Students must meet all prerequisites for enrollment.
Note: Concurrently-admitted high school students will not be allowed to enroll in any remedial/developmental courses designed to remove high school curricular or basic academic deficiencies. Students are still responsible for tuition beyond any waived amount and all fees and textbook costs.
New Student Checklist
- See your advisor (Student Center, first floor) to enroll
- Get your free student ID made in the Admissions office (Student Center, first floor).
- Purchase your textbooks at the bookstore (Student Center, second floor).
- Pick up your parking permit or pay your bill in the Business Office (Administration building, second floor).
