In support of the OSU-Oklahoma City mission, the Office of Institutional Research and Analytics (IRA) contributes to the advancement of institutional excellence by providing accurate, timely, and actionable data to inform decision-making, support accreditation efforts, and enhance student success.

Our Goals

  • Support institutional improvement through data-informed planning, assessment, and reporting;
  • Assist OSU-OKC in meeting requirements for accreditation, accountability, and compliance with state and federal agencies;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs and campus services in alignment with strategic goals;

Regional Accreditation

Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). To verify OSU-OKC's HLC membership, click the HLC Mark of Affiliation on this page. Additional information about programmatic accreditation, often including accreditor contact information, is available in links throughout this page. Since 1975, OSU-OKC is a member of and accredited by the HLC as an associate's and bachelor's degree granting institution. OSU-OKC also awards shorter, industry-driven, certificates as well. Many are embedded within existing associate's degrees.

The Nurse Science program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The Veterinary Technology  program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

ThePolice Science program is an approved Collegiate Officer Program through the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). The Radiologic Technology program is recognized as accredited under the campus’ HLC accreditation per the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists list ofARRT-Recognized Accreditation Agencies.

The Cardiovascular Sonography and Paramedicine programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). CAAHEP relies on the program’s specific credentialing agency to provide guidance on accreditation. Cardiovascular Sonography is approved by and adheres to the standards of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography whereas Paramedicine is approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Council of Accreditation of Emergency Personnel (CoAEMSP).
