What if I need to reset my OKEY password / I don’t remember it?

  1. Navigate to my.okstate.edu
  2. Towards the bottom of the page click "Forgot Password"
  3. Follow the steps to reset password
    -In the first box it will be your OKSTATE email
  4. Token will go the alternate email on file
  5. Follow steps included with token in the email you receive.
    ** IF you do not receive the token
    1. Check your spam folder and ensure it did not go there.
    2. If not, please email us your phone password response (this is the “challenge secret/phone password” you made when you created your OKEY account), your DOB, and the email you wish the token to go to. We will update the email and advise you to try following the password reset steps again.
    3. iCloud emails will not receive the token and will need to be updated to a different alternate email (gmail etc.)

What if I need to connect to the Cisco Secure Client VPN?

  1. Go to windows search (Bottom left corner) and type Cisco Secure Client - a round white application with a green and blue line on it should appear
  2. Use this URL and insert it into the blank box next to the connect radio: osuvpn.okstate.edu
  3. Click “Connect”
  4. Enter Okey Credentials for Login - Okstate email and password

** Must be on VPN to access any Shared Drives from home, or unknown network. Must use VPN to use AppX. **


What if I need to map my OSUOKC network drive on to a machine?

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. In the left pane, Right Click "This PC", then click "Map Network Drive..."
    (This will prompt a "Map Network Drive" window to open up)
  3. On the window, change the drive letter to "W:"
  4. In the Folder text box, type: "\\fs05.ad.osuokc.edu\Groups\"
  5. Make sure the "reconnect at sign-in" AND "Connect using different credentials" boxes are both checked.
    This will prompt a sign in box to pop up
  6. In the sign in box under Username, type "OSUOKC\SHORTNAME" (this is your OKEY shortname)
  7. Enter OSUOKC AD Password (Your laptop password).

*This should now pop up the "Groups" Drive. To access the drive you need, locate the folder and open it.

*You should have full access to this folder.


What if I need to map my OSUOKC network drive on a STILLWATER machine?

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. In the left pane, Right Click "This PC", then click "Map Network Drive..."
    (This will prompt a "Map Network Drive" window to open up)
  3. On the window, change the drive letter to "W:"
  4. In the Folder text box, type: "\\fs05.ad.osuokc.edu\Groups\"
  5. Make sure the "reconnect at sign-in" AND "Connect using different credentials" boxes are both checked.
    This will prompt a sign in box to pop up
  6. In the sign in box under Username, type "OSUOKC\SHORTNAME" (this is your OKEY shortname)
  7. Enter OSUOKC AD Password.
