First-time College Student Requirements
A first-time freshman is an individual who has attempted fewer than seven semester credit hours of college-level work excluding credit hours earned as a concurrently enrolled high school student.
Application requirements
Each applicant shall provide:
- Complete application for admission.
- Official copy of high school transcript, showing date of graduation.
- ACT (or similar battery) test scores (see Performance Requirements). *
- Non-resident application fee, if applicable.
- Proof of immunization record or signed certificate of exemption.
*The OSU-OKC assessment test (ACCUPLACER) may also be needed for placement purposes. OSU-OKC does not require a minimum score on either of these tests for admission.
Performance Requirements
To be placed in college-level classes, you must satisfy the following requirements:
- Attain a minimum ACT subject test score of 19 within the appropriate subject area, or
- Score into the appropriate college-level course on the ACCUPLACER placement test.
Students who do not obtain the appropriate test scores will be admitted into the college but required to take developmental classes before they are allowed to take college level classes.
