Emergency Medical Technician

About the EMT Certificate Programs
You’ll prepare to enter the prehospital emergency medical services field and provide basic life support. This course meets or exceeds the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards and follows the recommended training hours set by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. You’ll complete more than 144 hours of classroom lectures and hands-on skills training, along with at least 60 hours of field and clinical internship experience. Combined with EMS Operations, the curriculum totals 252 hours.
