The cybersecurity course curriculum features 17 engaging lessons across four key sections. Each section includes hands-on activities and a project that allows you to implement and test your newly acquired skills. You will begin by gaining an in-depth introduction to the fundamentals of cybersecurity and an exploration of the main cybersecurity certifications, job titles, and career opportunities. Next, you will identify security threats and vulnerabilities and learn how to manage and prevent attacks. You will also review essential security operation principles and technologies, concepts, and operating systems. In addition, you will also gain access to the Infosec Skills platform (six-month access) to leverage their extensive knowledge base to further your training.
By the end of the cybersecurity training, you will fully understand what role in cybersecurity best aligns with your career goals and become prepared to navigate challenging job interview questions. Your capstone project and the final course lessons will help you better find your first cybersecurity position and finalize your professional portfolio.
Upon successful boot camp completion, you will be provided with a voucher for the Security+ certification exam, which covers the cost to sit for the certifying exam upon eligibility.
