Nurse Science
Admissions Profile & Program Outcomes
Applications are evaluated using a points-based system based on an applicant's academic qualifications and performance. Use the following guidelines to calculate your admission point total.
Transferring Coursework
General education courses, such as English Composition and Psychology, will usually transfer if they are three-credit-hour courses. Science courses must be a minimum of four credit hours and must have a lab. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Course Equivalency Project website allows you to review the content area charts or you can click the searchable CEP Database on that same page to determine equivalency. For courses that are not on the transfer guides, you must obtain a course description and submit it to the nursing department.

- Traditional Nurse Pre-admission Exam
Please visit the Testing and Assessment Center's website for more information and to schedule your test.
*Note: Frequently repeated testing is discouraged as it is not a good indication of your readiness. For the results to be meaningful to you and for admissions purposes, we limit testing to three times per testing cycle and six times per year. We are requiring a two-week waiting period for retesting to allow for additional preparation time for the exam. As the Traditional Nurse Pre-admission Exam is based on Accuplacer exams, there are study materials in your Accuplacer account that can help you prepare for the next time you test. You can also register for and access free practice tools, practice tests, and other resources to help with your scores at https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students/prepare-for-accuplacer/practice.
. Accuplacer exams must be taken with live proctoring. Presently, computer/AI-based remote proctored exam results are not recognized.
