Since 1975, OSU-OKC has been a member of and accredited by the HLC as an associate’s and bachelor’s degree-granting institution. OSU-OKC also awards shorter, industry-driven, certificates. Many are embedded within existing associate’s degrees.
Program Accreditation
The Nurse Science program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
The Veterinary Technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities(CVTEA).
The Police Science program is an approved Collegiate Officer Program through the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET).
The Radiologic Technology program is recognized as accredited under the campus’ HLC accreditation per the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists list of ARRT-Recognized Accreditation Agencies.
The Cardiovascular Sonography program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Cardiovascular Sonography is approved by and adheres to the standards of theJoint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Paramedicine is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of theCommittee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
