Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020

Lot opens at 7 p.m.; movie at 8:30 p.m.

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City wants residents to get out and take in a movie this summer – right on the university’s campus at NW 10 and Portland Avenue.

Officials have announced the school will host a summer movie series, with family-friendly features displayed on a nearly 600-square-foot screen affixed to the side of the school’s parking garage.

The movies will be open the public and free for all attendees, with the series set to kick off on Saturday, Aug. 1 with a screening of the Disney/Pixar animated film "Onward." Additional screening nights will be held on Aug. 8 and 15.

Each screening will have a 92-vehicle capacity, and attendees must register beforehand to ensure a spot in the parking lot. Sound for the films will be transmitted on a dedicated FM radio station frequency typical of modern outdoor movie theaters.

On Aug. 8, we will show Disney/Pixar's "Up" and on Aug. 15 the feature will be Disney/Pixar's "Toy Story 4."
