Welcome to the Initial College Studies Division at OSU-Oklahoma City! Our mission is to build a foundation of excellence, one that prepares students for their further academic studies. Our foundational classes in reading/writing and mathematics provide students the necessary skills to be successful at this university and beyond. Courses offered through the English and Mathematics Departments build on those skills by developing students’ critical and analytical thinking abilities. Our credit-bearing Math and English courses fulfill OSU-OKC degree requirements and most are transferable to other degree-granting institutions statewide.
