SkidSUV Training

The SkidSUV teaches how to avoid dry pavement skids, as well as mud, snow and ice skids. It also demonstrates proper Automatic Braking System (ABS) braking techniques and how to cope with hydroplaning, as well as oversteering and understeering conditions.

"Low Speed Training is Better Training"

At 60 m.p.h. on a skid pad, a skid is over before the driver can learn anything from the event. But in the SkidSUV, everything happens at a low speed. The driver can learn from every action. It's an interactive technology: the driver can feel the vehicle begin to skid and can react to the dynamics of a skid as it happens. Each professional instructor has time to point out how to correct actions and reactions. This means new psycho/motor skills are introduced to the driver. Many graduates report back that gaining greater control of their vehicles has avoided accidents.
